
In 2011 the NAACP launched the “Financial Freedom Campaign” to help communities organize effective responses to the “Great Recession.” As part of the program, several NAACP units are piloting the Common Security Club (Resilience Circle) curriculum to learn about the economy and take concrete steps toward building a new, fair system for everyone.
