Since the documentary, “Fixing the Future,” which featured the
Portland, Maine time bank, Hour Exchange, from discussions in our
Resilience Circles, and with new information from TimeBank USA, the
idea of starting a local time bank is gaining traction.

Join us for this live, interactive webinar hosted by TimeBank USA to
learn about start-up strategies and stories about a number of
community Time Banks.

Living Wholeheartedly – Book Discussion

In our last e-news, we mentioned the 20-minute TED Talk by Brené Brown
– The Power of Vulnerability, about connection, courage,
wholeheartedness, and vulnerability. Inspired by the TED Talk, several
Resilience Circle participants have expressed interest in a group
discussion about Brené’s book, The Gifts of Imperfection, in which
dives further into these subjects – “she shares what she’s learned
from a decade of research on the power of Wholehearted Living.”

We’ll meet soon for an introduction to the book and to decide if we’ll
follow Brené’s “Reading Companion and Book Club Guide” or take another
approach. Please indicate your interest in participating by noting
which days/times work best for you on this Doodle calendar. More info
